About Lawrence M. Davis, MBA, CPA
With more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting, Larry has served as an independent financial consultant since 1999 to businesses based in the software, healthcare, ecommerce and manufacturing industries.
Larry has served as the CFO of both publicly-traded and privately-held enterprises, providing strategic guidance on initial public offerings, listing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM), acquisition by a larger company, and reverse mergers into public shells. For pre-IPO companies, Larry has assisted companies in raising more than $100 million in equity and convertible debt. Larry also has extensive experience in creating financial reporting systems, designing and implementing long-range financial forecasts, providing advice regarding cash management, and supervising all aspects of corporate administration in order to enhance the potential market value of these companies to the investment community.
Civic involvement includes service as the president of the West Point Society of the San Francisco Bay Area, past president of the San Francisco chapter of Financial Executives International, and as a member of the Board of Advisors of the West Point Association of Graduates.
Larry earned his MBA and BSBA (Accounting) from Auburn University, Auburn, AL, and a BS (Mechanical Engineering and Russian) from the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the State of Georgia. Language skills include moderate proficiency in Russian and German as well as a reading knowledge of French and Dutch.
